FAQ's

What's the difference between website hosting and website maintenance?

Hosting gives your website a place to live. Maintenance takes care of the website itself. Hosting keeps your website accessible online, while maintenance covers things like software updates, troubleshooting, content changes, and other ongoing website care. They're separate services, but they work well together.

What does website maintenance include?

Current Design Co.'s website maintenance includes software updates, plugin and theme updates, troubleshooting, small content changes, and other routine website care depending on your package.

Do I need website maintenance?

Technically? Your website can exist without it. But if you don't want to be the person responsible for remembering WordPress updates, troubleshooting broken plugins, and wondering why something suddenly stopped working, maintenance is a pretty good idea. Regular maintenance helps keep your website secure, functional, and easier to manage over time.

Can you maintain a website you didn't build?

Yes. We can evaluate your existing WordPress website and determine whether it's a good candidate for ongoing maintenance. If your website needs significant repairs or a larger overhaul before we can maintain it effectively, we'll let you know before getting started.

Can you make changes to my website?

Yes! Small website edits can be included as part of your maintenance service, depending on your plan. That can mean things like updating text, swapping images, adding a new team member, or making other minor content changes. Larger design or development projects may be quoted separately.

Will you back up my website?

Yes. The frequency is package dependent.

Can I request website updates whenever I need them?

It's as simple as sending us an email. Your maintenance plan gives you a way to hand off those little website tasks instead of letting them pile up on your to-do list.
